Study: Chromosome-level genome assembly for Caenorhabditis brenneri, strain CFB2252
show Abstracthide Abstract
The Caenorhabditis brenneri strain CFB2252 originated from a single gravid female found in a decaying marigold flower in Shyamnagar, India. The strain underwent a total of 90 generations of inbreeding. We generated a chromosome-level assembly using long-read PacBio data, chromosome conformation capture (Hi-C) sequence data, short-read Illumina data, and individual nematode PacBio HiFi data. We used RNA-seq, PacBio IsoSeq data, and protein sequences derived from other Caenorhabditis species for the genome annotation.
Sample: Caenorhabditis brenneri, strain CFB2252
